Foothills Conservancy of North Carolina has an opportunity to purchase and permanently protect 332 acres along US Highway 321 adjoining the iconic Blowing Rock attraction in Caldwell County.  This acquisition will preserve the sweeping and magnificent mountainous viewshed and protect the headwaters of the Johns River. 

Foothills Conservancy has already received $3 Million and needs to raise $1M to complete the project.

Foothills Conservancy has asked for your help in preserving the things we love about Blowing Rock, keeping it a special and beautiful place for generations to come.  To permanently protect this property Foothills Conservancy must raise $1 Million by June 2023.

There will be a community information session on March 9, 2023 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Blowing Rock Art and History Museum.
