We trust everyone had a safe and exciting Labor Day Weekend.  The next regularly scheduled Town Council meeting will be Tuesday September 12, 2023 at Town Hall at 6:00 PM.  The agenda and packet were not available this afternoon.

BRCA has scheduled one-on-one interviews with all candidates running for Town Council office and will post those on our website and other locations as soon as they are completed.  Those interviews are scheduled for Town Hall Council Chambers on Friday September 22, 2023.

A Candidate Forum is being organized and will be conducted at Blowing Rock Elementary School from 5:30-7:00 PM on Monday evening October 9, 2023.  Public is invited and there will be a process for taking questions from the audience.  The Forum is a collaborative effort and co-sponsored event between BRCA and the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce.

Important reminder as we approach deadlines on voter registration:
N C Civilian Voter Registration Deadline

• The voter registration deadline is September 15, 2023, for municipal elections taking place on October 10, 2023.
• The voter registration deadline is October 13, 2023, for municipal elections taking place on November 7, 2023.

 
Mail-in Voter Registration Applications
Your county board of elections must receive your completed application, postmarked by the voter registration deadline and received no later than 20 days before a primary or election. Through your generous financial support, you have made our annual meeting and our ongoing success possible.  Without your help we would not be here.  Without your support you would not have the information we are able to provide you.  So, thank you for your giving.
