We have received a number of significant contributions in the past few weeks, and we greatly appreciate it.  It is renewal time and unfortunately the USPS mishandled some 70,000 pieces of mail in NC and we never did receive our annual solicitation letter.  Please renew online (www.brcivic.org) or you can mail a check to: BRCA, P. Thank You Grandfather Mountain Stewardship Foundation!

Our members and viewers help them raise some $150,000 after the storm last fall and in appreciation they sponsored a private viewing on July 7th of the magnificent fireflies.  This is an annual event that lasts four days with three public viewings and one private event.  This was our night!  It was a stunning experience.  These four events raise $160,000 for the Foundation.  Thank you, Jesse and Margaret.

Candidate Filing Deadline

The candidate filing deadline for the Blowing Rock, NC Town Council in the 2025 municipal election is noon on Friday, July 18, 2025. The filing period began on Monday, July 7, 2025.
