This past weekend saw a huge turnout for the annual Lighting of the Town, Christmas Parade and Thanksgiving. The lights at night on Main Street are spectacular! As we turn toward the Christmas season and Winter here are some upcoming events:

Interim Town Manager Started December 1st
Lane Bailey will assume the role as interim town manger on December 1, 2025. Mr. Bailey has served as town manager for communities in North Carolina and during his retirement serves as interim to assist communities while they are searching for full time managers. He can be reached at town hall:

Blowing Rock Town Parking Enforcement Change

Received a parking ticket? You’ll notice there is a change in the look of our tickets and the process to make violation payments. We will no longer be accepting ticket payments in Blowing Rock PD or Town Hall. The violation will give detailed instructions for payment which will be made only by phone at (828) 332-5499, or online at https://www.tocite.net/blowingrocknc/portal/ticket
*Please note that the parking lot above the Post Office (beside Rooster Rock – across from Mellow Mushroom) is NOT a Town owned or enforced parking lot. This is a privately owned lot and ticketing enforcement is solely through the private company.
