The Town Council reduced the proposed tax increase of 3 Cents to a 1 Cent increase  by deferring a 1.5 Cent increase for bond debt  service to next fiscal year and reducing other operating costs by .5 Cent based on a thorough review by the Council under the leadership of our new Town Manager, Shane Fox.
