The pictures provide an update to the construction project currently know as The Embers on the corner of Main Street and Highway 221 behind Speckled Trout. There have been a number of comments and concerns over the scale and height of this project. This is but one more reason to subscribe to BRCA’s 28605 posts in order to stay informed of pending and upcoming projects in Blowing Rock. The project is reported to have a gabled roof which will sit atop the towers. Note the development starts at a ground level some 20 feet above the current sidewalk behind the new stone retaining wall. Your comment’s are important to Town Council members as Blowing Rock looks to rewrite downtown development code in 2023.
