We stopped by American Legion Hall yesterday for early voting.  I was #118.  Early voting is now available at the American Legion building located at: 333 Wallingford Rd Blowing Rock, NC

February
27^th – Last Day to Request Absentee Ballot by Mail

March
2^nd – Early Voting Ends at Noon
5^th – Presidential Preference Primary

There are a number of choices for various offices so it’s helpful to review the ballot ahead of time.  The ballots are two pages (front & back).  REMEMBER: You will need an ID to show upon arrival in order to vote.

Water & Sewer Project Update
The following information is from Town of Blowing Rock:

• Access to all businesses and activities on Main Street will remain open.
• Expect single-lane closures and potential travel/traffic delays.
• One full closure of Main Street is required at the northern 321 intersection (access businesses on North Main via Ransom St or Sunset Dr)
• Construction activity will be limited to Mon-Thurs when possible.

BRCA Update

BRCA had its quarterly Board of Trustees meeting yesterday, and the Summer Concert dates (3) and Annual Meeting date were firmed.  We will be sharing those dates in the next few weeks.

The 2023 tax year receipt letters were emailed this week; Foundation gift letters were mailed as well.  If you did not receive your receipt or if any of your contact information is incorrect, please let us know.
